Joseph Tung

Joseph Tung is a securities and corporate lawyer and a partner at Oakridge Law LLP. He has more than a decade of experience advising public and private companies in the mining, technology, cryptocurrency, cannabis and pharmaceutical sectors on securities law, corporate finance, M&A and corporate governance.

Joseph’s practice includes public offerings and private placements, stock exchange listings, reverse takeovers and qualifying transactions, as well as ongoing corporate governance and continuous disclosure matters.

He also has experience in secured lending and commercial real estate transactions, which informs his work on complex business deals and capital markets transactions.

In addition to his legal practice, Joseph has served as a director of two Nasdaq-listed companies, including as a member of a corporate governance committee.

Joseph holds Canadian and American Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, and has completed two levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
